NEXCO EAST Kitakami Management Office (Kitakami City, Iwate Prefecture) and Yokote Management Office (Yokote City, Akita Prefecture) E46 Akita Expressway between the north west Interchange (IC) ~ Omagari IC, various types of construction, will be carried out at night closed to traffic for as follows inspection.

5 Construction content
[1] Between Kitakami Nishi IC and Yuda IC
We will carry out pavement repair work for damaged pavements, cleaning and inspection of various tunnel equipment, lighting equipment replacement work, bridge inspection, etc.
[2] Between Yuda IC and Omagari IC
We will perform tunnel interior plate removal, tunnel emergency equipment renewal work, damaged pavement repair work, and pavement work accompanying Yokote Kita Smart IC (SIC) construction.
Pavement repair
We will repair the places where cracks and steps on the pavement surface are noticeable.
Equipment inspection in tunnel
We will carry out equipment inspections in tunnels to maintain a safe road environment.
Removal of tunnel interior board
Remove damaged tunnel interior panels and tiles.
Tunnel emergency equipment renewal work
We will update the fire detector equipment in the tunnel.
6 Regarding transfer fare adjustment due to suspension of traffic
Passengers who exit the Expressway due to suspension of traffic, bypass the section of suspension of traffic, and then transfer again in the same direction, will make "transit adjustment" to adjust the toll according to the segment used.
