NEXCO EAST Koriyama Management Office (Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture) is preparing for future rainfall so that the E4 Tohoku Expressway Shirakawa Chuo Smart Interchange (IC) (In-bound line) entrance and exit lamps can continue to be used safely and securely. We will close at night as follows and carry out construction to reinforce the slope.
To minimize the impact on traffic, we will close it at night when traffic is low. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

5 Special turns associated with night closure

For customers who traveled from the Koriyama area and could not flow out at the Shirakawa Central Smart IC due to the nighttime closure, please contact the tollgate staff at the Shirakawa IC before paying the fare on the general lane, and make a special turn to Shirakawa. Please return to Central Smart IC.
* Customers using ETC should also leak to the "general" lane and inform the staff accordingly.
