NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba-ku, Sendai City) is for winter on Expressway with the aim of encouraging early replacement of winter tires and enlightening safe driving on snowy roads as the snowfall season begins. We will investigate the tire installation status and announce the results.
Surveys will be conducted on a regular basis until the winter tire installation rate improves.
This survey has been conducted since 1998, and this is the 22nd survey this year.
1 Survey results on November 5 (Tue)

According to the survey on November 5th (Tuesday), the winter tire installation rate for the entire Tohoku region is about 17%.
2 Request from NEXCO EAST Tohoku Branch
- Please put on early winter tires before snowfall.
