NEXCO EAST Iwaki Management Office and Iwaki Construction Office (Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture) are located in a two-lane section (one lane on each side). E6 Joban Expressway Iwaki Chuo Interchange (IC) and Shinchi Interchange (IC), we will carry out night traffic closures as follows due to the construction of pavements and protection fences for 4 lane construction and additional lane construction.
This time, mainly carried out with the 4-lane construction 2020 will inform you about the night closed to traffic from August to October, is scheduled to carry out nighttime road closures to be 4-lane construction work completed since November.
Also, we are planning to close the road between Yamamoto IC and Iwanuma IC in Miyagi Prefecture, which is also under construction with four lanes, so we will inform you later.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you may have some time when you go out.

Regarding the progress of the Joban Expressway 4-lane project, we have made the utmost efforts toward completion within the reconstruction and reconstruction period, with close cooperation from related organizations, but in some sections within Fukushima Prefecture Due to the bankruptcy of the contractor for the substructure work of the bridge and the influence of last year's typhoon, the work could be delayed significantly.
Therefore, we have made various efforts, such as obtaining the cooperation of an adjacent construction company, and are currently developing the superstructure work. It is difficult to complete some sections including this bridge by the end of the fiscal year and it is expected to be delayed by about half a year at the moment, but we will do our best to complete it as soon as possible.

6. Construction status

 E6 Joban Expressway E6 Construction is underway between the Iwaki Chuo Interchange (IC) and the Iwanuma Interchange (IC) on the Sendai-Tobu Road. In the future, we plan to suspend traffic according to the progress of construction. We appreciate your continued understanding and cooperation.
