NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Miyagino-ku, Sendai City) is in the Tohoku region managed by the Company during the year-end and New Year period [8 days from December 28, 3rd (Tuesday) to January 4th, 4th (Tuesday)]. We are pleased to inform you that we have summarized the usage status of the Expressway in Sendai.
- The average daily traffic volume in the Tohoku region was 13,700 vehicles / day, a decrease of about 86% compared to the same period in the 2019. (Increased to about 136% compared to the same period in 2020)
- The number of traffic jams over 5km was 0.
However, the number of traffic jams due to snow closure was 2 times (2 times in the Out-bound direction and 0 times in the In-bound direction).
