NEXCO EAST Yamagata Management Office (Yamagata City) will commemorate the opening of the E13 Tohoku-Chuo Expressway Yamagata PA (Yamagata PA) Smart Interchange (IC) on Sunday, March 24, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. We would like to inform you that the opening ceremony will be held as follows.
We will also be recruiting customers who will be the first to use the smart IC entrance.

Sunday, March 24, 2020 14:30-14:50

2. Venue

Tohoku-Chuo Expressway Yamagata PA Smart IC (Out-bound line entrance)

3. 3. Contents of the event

NEXCO EAST will present a passport certificate and souvenir to five customers (advance reception system) waiting to be opened. (We will be deemed to be the "first rider" at receptionist # 1.)

Four. How to apply for customers who wish to have a business start ceremony

Please apply in advance by the following method.

1) How to apply:
Please come directly to the reception location during the reception period below. Numbered tickets will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications cannot be made by phone.
The vehicle of the customer applying is required to use ETC.
Also, please be sure to bring proof of identity (driver's license, etc.) when issuing a traffic permit.
2) Reception location:
See Tohoku-Chuo Expressway Yamagata Kaminoyama Toll Gate Attachment 1 [PDF: 106KB] and Attachment 2 [PDF: 202KB]​
  • Please note that it is different from the venue on the day of the ceremony.
3) Reception period:
From 10:00 to 16:00 from January 20th (Sat) to 26th (Fri)
  • Regardless of the above, the reception will end when the first 5 people arrive.
4) Notes:
Waiting on public roads around Yamagata PA Smart IC is strictly prohibited.

Five. Yamagata PA Smart IC business start time

March 24, 2020 (Sunday) 15:00~

NEXCO EAST Group is working to contribute to achieving the SDGs.
This project to develop the Yamagata PA Smart IC is a business activity that will revitalize the local economy and support local medical care through the development and strengthening of Expressway networks. I believe that this will contribute to No. 11.
