Tohoku Regional Head Office
NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Miyagino-ku, Sendai City), in conjunction with the Autumn National Traffic Safety Campaign to be held from 2024 September 21 (Sat.) to 30 (Mon.), will conduct the campaign at 19 interchanges ("IC"), service areas ("SA"), parking areas ("PA") and other locations in the Tohoku Regional Head Office jurisdiction Expressway with related organizations including prefectural police Expressway traffic police units. The Autumn Traffic Safety Campaign will be held jointly with prefectural police forces, traffic police units, and other related organizations at 19 locations, including service areas, parking areas, and PAs.
The campaign aims to achieve "zero" traffic fatalities by encouraging customers to prevent distracted driving, thoroughly maintain and inspect their vehicles, and fasten seatbelts in all seats, while distributing flyers and novelties.

State of past campaign
The NEXCO EAST Group has positioned the period from 2021 to 2025 as "a period to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs and transform toward a new future society", and is carrying out various initiatives.
