In conjunction with the National Spring Traffic Safety Campaign to be held from April 6th (Sun) to 15th (Tue), 2025, NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture) will be conducting a spring traffic safety campaign as follows in collaboration with relevant organizations such as each prefectural Regional Head Office Expressway traffic police unit at 17 interchanges (hereinafter referred to as "ICs"), service areas (hereinafter referred to as "SAs"), and parking areas (hereinafter referred to as "PAs") on expressways under the jurisdiction of the Tohoku Expressway.
This campaign aims to achieve "zero" traffic fatalities by distributing flyers and giveaways and encouraging customers to take measures such as preventing wrong-way driving accidents, preventing fatal and injury accidents at the end of traffic jams, and wearing seat belts in all seats.

NEXCO EAST Group has positioned the period from 2021 to 2025 as "a period to contribute to the achievement of the SDGs and transform toward a new future society", and is carrying out various initiatives.
We believe that the implementation of this Spring Traffic Safety Campaign will contribute to SDGs goals 3 and 17 as business activities that lead to the reduction of casualties due to traffic accidents.
