NEXCO EAST　The Yamagata Management Office (Yamagata City, Yamagata Prefecture) will close the E48 Yamagata Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Yamagata Road") up and down line from the Nishikawa Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") to the Gassan IC for pavement repair work during the night.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time for your trip.

1. Closed section and date and time

  1. Closed section:
    Yamagata Expressway, up and down lanes, Nishikawa IC to Gassan IC

2. Detour

The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

3. Construction overview

Yamagata Expressway Upper and lower lines Nishikawa IC ~ Tsukiyama IC Due to damage to the road surface, pavement repair work will be carried out. In order to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the road at night on weekdays when traffic is low, and carry out construction intensively and efficiently. This is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

    The highway radio section is indicated by signs on the Expressway.
  • Highway Information Terminal
    We will inform you of road information in an easy-to-understand manner by the monitor screens installed in SA / PA.

    You can get road traffic information with VICS-compatible car navigation and other on-board devices.
  • Information is also distributed on the official X (formerly Twitter) account.
