NEXCO EAST Koriyama Management Office (Koriyama City, Fukushima Prefecture) will be closing the Iwaki-bound entrance ramp to the Funehiki Ban-Etsu Expressway Interchange (hereinafter referred to as the "IC") on the E49 Ban-Etsu Expressway (hereinafter referred to as the "Ban'etsu Expressway") at night due to construction work to install a new ramp barrier.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when heading out.

2. Detour

The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

3. Construction overview

Ban-Etsu Expressway New ramp breakers will be installed at the entrance ramps to the Funehiki Miharu Interchange. Since each ramp has only one lane and heavy equipment will be set up on the lane to perform the work, it is necessary to close the Iwaki direction entrance ramp for the work.
Therefore, in order to minimize inconvenience to customers, the ramp will be closed at night on weekdays when traffic volume is low, so that the work can be carried out in a concentrated and efficient manner. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway.
