NEXCO EAST Kitakami Management Office (Kitakami City, Iwate Prefecture) E46 Kamaishi Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Kamaishi Road") will be closed overnight from Hanamaki Junction (hereinafter referred to as "JCT") to Towa Interchange (hereinafter referred to as "IC") due to pavement repair work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, and we ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing yourself plenty of time when going out.

1. Closed section and date and time

  1. Road closure section:
    Kamaishi Expressway, both inbound and outbound lanes, Hanamaki JCT to Towa IC

    Every day from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning

The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

3. Construction overview

At Kamaishi Road Upper and Lower Line Hanamaki JCT ~ Towa IC, we will carry out pavement repair work. In order to avoid causing as much inconvenience as possible to customers, we will close the road on weekday nights when there is little traffic, and carry out the construction intensively and efficiently. This is a necessary construction work for you to use the Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.
