NEXCO EAST　Aomori Management Office (Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture) will close the E4A Aomori Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Aomori Road") up and down line from Aomori Junction (hereinafter referred to as "JCT") to Aomori Higashi IC during the night for pavement repair work and other reasons.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time for your trip.

The detour will increase your travel time, so please allow extra time for your journey.

3. Construction overview

Pavement repair work will be carried out on the Aomori Highway, both upper and lower ends, from Aomori JCT to the Aomori Higashi Interchange, due to damage to the road surface. The section where this work will be performed is a single lane, and since it is not possible to perform the work with normal lane restrictions, it will be necessary to close the section to traffic. In order to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the road during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic volume is low, and will carry out the work intensively and efficiently. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway.
