NEXCO EAST At the Akita Management Office (Akita City, Akita Prefecture), a nighttime road closure will be implemented from E7 Akita Expressway (hereafter "Akita Expressway") Hachiryu Interchange (hereafter "IC") to Noshiro Minami IC for pavement repair work and other purposes.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you can allow extra time when you go out.

   Akita Expressway, both inbound and outbound lanes, Yatsuryu IC to Noshiro Minami IC

   July 21st (Tuesday) to July 22nd (Wednesday), 2020

   Every day from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning

   Preparation day:

   July 23rd (Thursday) to July 24th (Friday), 2020

   Every day from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning

2. Detour

For information on alternative routes, please refer to Attachment 1 [PDF: 125KB].
The detour will increase your travel time, so please allow ample time for your journey.

3. Construction overview

Due to road surface damage occurring on the Akita Expressway both directions Hachiryu IC ~ Noshiro Minami IC, we will carry out pavement repair work. To minimize inconvenience to customers, we close roads on weekday nights when traffic is low, allowing for concentrated and efficient construction. This construction is necessary to ensure safe and comfortable use of the Expressway, so we appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

4. How to obtain information about Expressway

(1) Guidance by distribution / posting

• Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
• A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
