NEXCO EAST The Aomori Management Office (Aomori City, Aomori Prefecture) will implement a nighttime road closure at Aomori Junction (hereinafter "JCT") on the E4A Aomori Expressway (hereafter "Aomori Expressway") to Aomori East Interchange (hereinafter "IC") for pavement repair work.
We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you can allow extra time when you go out.

• The signs such as E4A attached to each route indicate the route number (numbering) of Expressway, etc.

   Monday, September 28, 2020 - Tuesday, October 6, 2020

   Daily from 7 PM to 6 AM the following morning, excluding Saturdays and Sundays.

   Preparation day:

   October 7th (Wednesday) - October 9th (Friday), 2020

   Every night from 7pm to 6am the next morning

2. Detour

The detour will increase your travel time, so please allow extra time for your journey.

3. Construction overview

Pavement repair work will be carried out on the Aomori Highway, both upper and lower ends, from Aomori JCT to the Aomori Higashi Interchange, due to damage to the road surface. The section where this work will be performed is a single lane, and since it is not possible to perform the work with normal lane restrictions, it will be necessary to close the section to traffic. In order to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the road during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic volume is low, and will carry out the work intensively and efficiently. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway.
