On May 31, Niigata Prefectural Police, at the Sanjo Tsubame Toll Gate on the Hokuriku Expressway, used fraudulent passers-by using fraudulent credit cards and illegally avoiding the tolls that they were supposed to pay. And announced that he was arrested on charges of fraud.
To date, we have taken a strong stance of not allowing unauthorized traffic so as not to damage customers' trust in the toll road business. We believe that the recent arrest of a person who commits malicious tolls will help ensure fairness in toll charges and prevent unauthorized tolls.
We will continue to take a resolute attitude toward illegal traffic and will actively cooperate with police investigations to tackle illegal traffic.
