About our response to the tight power supply and demand

In response to the tight supply and demand for electricity, NEXCO EAST will implement the following power saving efforts.

Implementation date

The day when the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy issued a power supply and demand tight warning or warning

Target range

Facilities within the power company jurisdiction subject to power shortage warnings and warnings

Specific efforts to save electricity

  • tunnel lighting
    Lights are dimmed to the extent that safe driving is possible.
    • Lights will not be dimmed in emergencies such as fires or accidents, or when it is difficult to ensure safety.
  • Service area/parking area
    Reduce lighting in employee spaces, set energy-saving air conditioning, and turn off exterior lighting and illumination at night, excluding rest facility names and marks, to the extent that it does not interfere with business

In addition, at NEXCO EAST Group company building (including toll booths), based on the "Winter energy saving and power saving menu (for business operators)" from the Agency for Natural Resources and Energy, we will reduce the lighting of the company building, turn off the lights frequently, and power the electronic equipment. Thoroughly turn it off.
