NEXCO EAST　The Chiba Management Office (Inage-ku, Chiba City, Chiba Prefecture) will partially close the ETC lanes for the Tokyo and Narita directions at the Miyanoki Toll Gate and the entrance and exit ETC lanes at the Chiba Kita Interchange on the E51 Higashi-Kanto Expressway ("Higashi-Kanto Toll Road") for the entire day to upgrade the ETC equipment.
As this is a toll gate with high traffic volume, there are concerns about traffic congestion due to the reduced number of ETC lanes as a result of the partial all-day closure of the ETC lanes. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time for your trip.

During the construction period, some ETC lanes at the Miyanogi tollgate (Tokyo-bound and Narita-bound) and the entrance and exit lanes of the Chiba Kita Interchange will be closed all day, with construction work being carried out in shifts.

2. Closure period
   June to November 2020
   We will be switching between different construction sites and closing some areas for the entire day.



• The closure period may change depending on the progress of construction work.
• Construction will be suspended during the Obon period in August.
