NEXCO EAST /Central/West Japan will relax the distance restrictions for commuting discounts and weekday daytime discounts from July 8 as part of the Expressway toll reduction announced on March 13, 2009.

Weekday daytime discounts are no longer limited to twice a day, and the discount hours will be Large.

1 Change of commuting discount conditions

  • (1) If you use over 100 km, table 1 50% discount is applied to the maximum 100km equivalent except

Suburbs of large cities in Tokyo and Osaka (table 1) Except national Expressway
However, some roads are excluded (Table 2)
Applicable date:

Target vehicle:
ETC vehicles (for all vehicle types)
Discount rate:
Up to 50% for 100km equivalent
time:
6:00 to 9:00, 17:00 to 20:00 (Table 3)
Number of applications:
Applicable only to the first usage for each time period

2 Change of discount conditions for weekday daytime discount

  • (1) If you use over 100 km, table 1 30% discount is applied for the maximum 100km equivalent except
  • (2) Large discount application time period from "9:00 to 17:00" to "6 to 20:00"
  • (3) No limit on the number of times (there is no limit for "twice a day".)

  • D: Weekday night discount: Up to 30% discount (Large from 4:00 to 6:00, 20:00 to 24:00)
