NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has summarized the traffic conditions on Expressway during the Golden Week period.
[Summary of traffic conditions]
- Compared to the previous year's Golden Week period, the daily average cross-sectional traffic volume of the 23 main sections is Increase by around 3% around large cities and around 4% in rural areas Did.
- The number of times of traffic congestion of 10 km or more, 119 times, one increase compared to last year was. In addition, the number of traffic congestion over 30 km, 20 times, 5 times more than last year was.
- The maximum traffic length is 54.8km near the Fukushima Tunnel on the Tohoku Expressway (near Fukushima City, Fukushima Prefecture) around 9:50 on Saturday, May 1 in the Out-bound direction was.
