2 Plan for congestion measures

During the Obon season, we will open the main rest facilities where congestion is expected. Attachment 2 [PDF: 114KB] It is summarized in.
Please note that other rest facilities are expected to be more crowded than usual.

In addition, regarding the rest facility where we plan to secure large car parking Attachment 3 [PDF: 113KB] Please use it for an efficient drive plan as it is summarized in.

In the Tohoku region, congestion is expected to increase significantly at some toll gates due to the toll-free measures, so we will strengthen measures at the toll gates. In addition, we ask for the cooperation of customers to prepare certificates in advance so that they can pass through the toll gate smoothly.

We will implement the following measures to prevent congestion during the Obon season. Attachment 4 [PDF: 480KB]

  • In-bound speed decrease caution in slope, etc.
  • Arrangement of parking lot organizers at rest facilities
  • Calling attention to the rear end of a traffic jam
  • Installation of temporary toilet
  • Secure parking for large vehicles
