NEXCO EAST, NEXCO CENTRAL and NEXCO WEST have created new Expressway tolls (draft) based on the "Basic Policy on New Expressway Tolls" (announced by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism on December 20, 2013). We have been proceeding with the required procedures such as listening to the opinions of everyone*.
We are pleased to inform you that we have received permission from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism to change the Expressway business and have decided a new Expressway toll after April 1, 2014.
The new Expressway tolls announced this time will include changes in toll levels, reorganization of toll discounts at the end of the convenience promotion plan, and changes in tolls due to the consumption tax rate increase. Expressway companies will strive to smoothly introduce this new Expressway toll.
