NEXCO EAST (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo), in collaboration with NEXCO CENTRAL and NEXCO WEST, will celebrate the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the "SA/PA Menu Contest National Tournament" on December 22 (Tuesday), Hattori Nutrition College ( It will be held for the first time in Sendagaya, Tokyo.

In the "SA/PA Menu Contest National Tournament," 12 stores that won the qualifying event sponsored by each NEXCO company from the new menu developed by 158 stores including restaurants in service areas (SA) and parking areas (PA) nationwide. Is a contest that challenges national competitions and decides the top of food in the service area and parking area.

The theme of the menu is "Menu using local ingredients and full of local food culture and charm". We will develop menus that can only be tasted in the area, such as utilizing local cuisine and cooking methods that are handed down to the region, and will start selling them from October 1.

NEXCO EAST will hold two qualifying competitions at 42 stores that will enter this contest from October 1st in order to select the representative stores in East Japan that will challenge the national competition.

In the first qualifying round, the blocks will be divided into four blocks for each region, and the block qualifying round will be conducted by the customer's web voting.

In the second qualifying, a block tournament will be held in November in which 30 stores that have passed the block qualifying will participate, and the four winners will participate in the national tournament. In addition, in the block competition, a food expert will conduct a real meal examination.
