Expressway will support the travel of foreign tourists to Japan and enhance services for foreign tourists visiting Japan to contribute to the realization of a "high quality" advanced tourism country.

Main efforts on Expressway

1 We offer a service that allows you to use Expressway at a great value

1. NEXCO East Japan/Central Japan/West Japan and Road Public Corporation (Miyagi Prefecture, Kyoto Prefecture and Hyogo Prefecture) will be the first national version of Expressway for foreign tourists visiting Japan who will use a rental car. We sell "Japan Expressway Pass", which is a flat-rate unlimited pass.
   • Start selling from October 13, 2017 (Friday) *Available for up to 14 consecutive days
   • You can apply at 275 car rental companies nationwide. (As of September 26, 2017)
   • We will carry out overseas dissemination in cooperation with the Tourism Department and the Japan National Tourism Organization (JNTO).
2. Local flat-rate unlimited passes (Hokkaido, Tohoku, Chubu, Chushikoku, Kyushu area) will also be sold continuously.

2 We support a safe and comfortable trip

We will provide various services to foreign tourists visiting Japan so that they can use the Expressway comfortably and without stress.

1. By 2020, we will outline the numbering signs as road guides that are easy for customers to understand.
2. We will help you with any problems you may have while traveling on the Expressway at the SA/PA concierge and customer center.
3. We provide a safe communication environment with Free Wi-Fi service in SA/PA.
4. A foreign language version of the Expressway map is available.
5. We will provide more comfortable shopping services at SA/PA and souvenirs that are attractive to Japan.
