East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd., Central Japan Expressway Co., Ltd. and West Japan Expressway Co., Ltd. will increase the consumption tax rate to 10% from October 1, this year, Expressway The amount equivalent to the consumption tax rate increase will be passed on to the price.
Since a business permit from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is required to revise the fee, we will promptly apply for a permit in the future.
In addition, we will inform you of the revised fee on the website of each company from 14:00 (scheduled) on September 6th, assuming the permission of the Minister of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
About way of thinking of rate revision
Based on the national policy, the amount equivalent to the increase in the consumption tax rate will be properly passed on to the charges, and adjustments will be made within 110/108 for the entire business.
Example of fare calculation for highway national highways (distance system section) (for ordinary cars and ordinary sections)

- 1 When the usage distance exceeds 100km, 25% discount is applied to the portion exceeding 100km to 200km, and 30% discount is applied to the portion exceeding 200km.
