NEXCO EAST, NEXCO CENTRAL, NEXCO WEST (hereinafter referred to as "NEXCO 3 companies") set up a technical review committee (abbreviation: long-term maintenance review committee) on long-term maintenance and renewal of Expressway assets in November 2012. We set up and examined the necessity of the renewal project and its countermeasures, and in January 2014, we received a proposal from the committee and formulated a renewal plan, and started the project in March 2015.
After that, due to the implementation of detailed investigations based on the advancement of inspection technology for regular inspections and damaged areas, new deterioration events and the progress of deterioration were confirmed. We proceeded with deliberations on the necessity, and this time, an "interim report" summarizing the deliberations so far was submitted to NEXCO3 companies.
In response to the "interim report", we will inform you that we have compiled a renewal plan (outline) as a NEXCO3 company, targeting areas where significant changes have been confirmed and need to be renewed.

Note) Since there is a possibility that significant changes will progress in the future at locations with the same structure and standards as those that newly required renewal above, renewal projects will be added based on the results of future inspections. Consider.
