East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) has summarized the traffic situation during the year-end and New Year holidays [2024 Friday, December 27, 2025 - Sunday, January 5, 2025: 10 days].
- The average daily traffic volume was 103% compared to the same period last year.
- The number of traffic jams longer than 10 km was 58, an increase of 18 from the same period last year.
- There were five traffic jams of over 30 km in length, an increase of three from the same period last year.
- The longest traffic jam length was 46.5 km at 6:40 p.m. on Thursday, January 2nd, starting near Iwatsuki IC on the E4 Tohoku Expressway (In-bound).
