NEXCO EAST, NEXCO CENTRAL, NEXCO WEST (hereinafter referred to as "the three NEXCO companies") and Miyagi Prefectural Road Corporation will implement a "Fixed-Rate Discount for Motorcycles" starting April 4, 2026 (Saturday), which will provide a fixed-rate discount on tolls for ETC-equipped motorcycles using Expressway managed by the three NEXCO companies and Miyagi Prefectural Road Corporation on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

This discount has been implemented every year since 2022 with the aim of stimulating touring demand on weekends and holidays when tourism is common, promoting the use of motorcycles and revitalizing the local area, and was very well received last year as well.
To use the service, you must apply in advance online. However, taking into account the weather on the day, you can also apply via smartphone just before your trip, so please feel free to use the service.

1. 1. Discount target date

Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays between April 4, 2026 and November 29, 2026, for the date you applied for before use.

• In Hokkaido, the event will be held from April 4th (Saturday) to October 31st (Saturday), 2026.

• The following routes are not eligible for discounts:
  Daisan-Keihin Road, Yokohama-Shindo Road, Yokohama Yokosuka Road, Second Hanna Road, Second Shinmei Road, Kanmon Tunnel, Yagiyama Bypass, Okinawa Expressway, Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway. However, Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway does not apply the fixed rate motorcycle discount, but is included in the determination of mileage.

Four. Discount details

37.5% discount for driving on eligible roads where the distance traveled between each interchange exceeds 80km.

• A single trip generally refers to driving on Expressway from entrance to exit without exiting (including passing through main toll gates, etc.). However, if you transfer between target roads via specific interchanges or toll gates (hereinafter referred to as "interchanges, etc.") and new directly managed sections, etc., it will be considered a single trip and the distances traveled on each target road will be added together. For details, please refer to Appendix-2 [PDF: 243KB].
• If there are multiple routes between the interchanges you use, the cheapest fare will be applied, so the discount will be determined based on the distance of the shortest route, not the actual mileage. Please check the distance used to determine the discount on the "distance and fee search site" before using.

Five. How to apply, etc.

Applications will open on Tuesday, March 24, 2026 at 2:00 PM.
Please register as a member with NEXCO CENTRAL "Hayatabi" service, which is the application destination. Then, enter your usage date, ETC card information, ETC onboard unit management number, etc., and submit your application before use.

• If you have already registered as a member, you do not need to register again.
• ETC corporate card is not subject to membership registration and usage application.
• Discounts are also available if the road flows into the target road the day before the date of use and flows out on the day of use, or if it flows into the target road on the day of use and flows out the day after the day of use.

• If your usage meets the application requirements for holiday discounts and late-night discounts, the lowest discount after discount will be applied.
• Discounts apply to all trips that exceed 80km (it is not determined based on the total distance traveled on the day of use).
• Please use the target road with a motorcycle equipped with the ETC card and ETC on-board unit registered at the time of application. If you use a motorcycle with an ETC card or ETC on-board unit that is different from the one you registered, you will be required to pay the regular rate (if the ETC time zone discount is applied, the discounted rate).
• Unlike cars, motorcycles are easily affected by the weather such as wind and rain, and there is nothing to protect the body in the event of an accident, so even a small accident can lead to a serious accident. Before using the Expressway, please check the weather forecast and cooperate for a safe and comfortable drive.
