NEXCO EAST (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and Chief Executive Officer: Toru Kohata) and Hokkaido Electric Power Co., Inc. (Headquarters: Sapporo City, Hokkaido, President and Chief Executive Officer: Akihiko Mayumi) today were in a disaster. We would like to inform you that we have signed an agreement regarding cooperation between East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. and Hokkaido Electric Power Co., Inc. for the purpose of swift recovery activities.
Through mutual cooperation based on this agreement, we will contribute to the local community by promptly recovering Expressway functions and restoring power when a disaster occurs, leading to the recovery of disaster areas.
