NEXCO EAST Hokkaido Regional Head Office (Atsubetsu-ku, Sapporo City) has been promoting additional lane construction (* 1) (about) as a traffic safety measure for two-way traffic sections between Tomamu IC and Tokachi Shimizu IC (Out-bound line) on the E38 Doto Expressway Of the 9.5km), about 3.1km has been completed, so we will extend the additional lane.
By extending the additional lane, customer safety will be improved, and smooth and comfortable driving with less driving stress is expected.
We will continue to work on the remaining 6.4km section toward the completion of additional lanes as soon as possible.
(* 1) Construction to change one lane on each side to two lanes.
