NEXCO EAST Kanto Regional Head Office (Taito-ku, Tokyo, Regional Head Office length: Shinichi Ishikawa) managed Tateyama Expressway in the vicinity of Futtsu Takeoka IC A lamp (the entry ramp to the Tokyo area), because a disaster has occurred by the collapse of Cut Slope surface , The A lamp is closed and investigation and restoration work is in progress.

Currently, we are working hard toward an early recovery, but there is no prospect of recovery. We'll let you know as soon as we're ready.

4) Details of the disaster
Futtsu Takeoka IC A ramp's four-step cut slope, at the third step from the bottom, the maximum width is about 20 m (road extension direction), height is 3 m, and depth is 3 m. 200m3 is collapsed, outflow to them on the road of about 5m 3 is a lamp. 2 Cause (probable)

It is presumed that it was due to rainfall from midnight on Friday, February 26. (The reason is currently under investigation)

3 Recovery status and outlook

At present, there is a risk that fragments will scatter to the main line due to further falling rocks from the collapsed place.To prevent this, a scatter prevention net and a large sandbag are installed between the A lamp and the main line.

Although it will not affect the passage of the main Expressway, we are continuing field surveys to find out the cause of the collapse of the slope and to examine the restoration work method in order to release the closure of the A ramp. (Depending on the examination results, the main line may be temporarily closed for restoration work.)

Regarding the A lamp, we will inform you again when the closing cancellation time is decided after consultation with related organizations.

Futtsu Takeoka IC If you are heading towards Tokyo while the A ramp is closed, please use Futtsu Chuo IC via Route 127.
