NEXCO EAST Mito Management Office (Mito City, Ibaraki Prefecture), October 1 (Tuesday) to carry out pavement repair work at the outflow ramp of the Joban Expressway (Joban Expressway) Kitaibaraki Interchange (IC) (Out-bound line). We will carry out night traffic closures (2 nights) from 21:00 each on the 2nd (Wednesday) to 6:00 the next morning.
We would like to ask for your understanding and cooperation regarding night traffic.
1 Night closed section and date and time
(1) section, such as: Joban Expressway Kitaibaraki IC (Out-bound line) exit ramp
(2) Date and time: October 1, 2013 (Tuesday), 2nd (Wednesday) 21:00 to 6:00 the next morning (2 nights)
*Preliminary days: October 3 (Thursday) and October 4 (Friday) at the same time
- If construction is completed early, we may cancel the closure earlier than planned.
- In case of stormy weather, it will be postponed to the same time zone the next day. In addition, the decision to carry out night traffic will be made at 17:00 on the day of implementation.
2 Detour
If you use the Joban Expressway from Tokyo, please use Route 6 as a detour after exiting the Takahagi IC in front of the Kitaibaraki IC. Attachment-1 [PDF: 126KB]
This detour will increase the time required by about 20 minutes, so please take time to go out.
3 Business overview
Joban Expressway Kitaibaraki IC Out-bound exit ramp from the line, for the deterioration of the pavement is in progress, it will be carried out repair work of the pavement.
