NEXCO EAST Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway Management office (Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture) fires a vehicle inside a tunnel at Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway In the event of a serious accident, such as the police, fire department, NEXCO EAST, Trans-Tokyo Bay Highway Co. For the first time in about five years, we will carry out tunnel disaster prevention drills with restricted lanes for the purpose of quick and accurate accident handling and emergency rescue activities.

On the day of the event, we will set traffic lane regulations and conduct disaster prevention drills, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation. It is not expected that traffic congestion will occur, but please be sure to leave before leaving.

    ・A rear-end collision with two vehicles occurred in the Tokyo Bay Aqua Tunnel. A situation in which white smoke is emitted from an accident vehicle and there is a risk of vehicle fire.
    ・One driver was seriously injured in the vehicle of the accident, and two other injured in the other vehicle.
