NEXCO EAST in Keihin management office (Yokohama City, Kanagawa Prefecture), Yokohama-Shindo Road in the communication passage of the new Hodogaya Interchange (IC) (lamp), will be carried out repair work of pavement and bridges.
For this reason, the lamp from the Hodogaya Bypass to the Yokohama-Shindo Road (bound for Odawara) will be closed at night. Please use the detour route during construction.
We apologize for the inconvenience, but we kindly ask for your understanding and cooperation so that you may have plenty of time when you go out.
1 Closing location and date

(2) Closing date
From Monday, November 11th to Wednesday, November 13th, preliminary days 14th (Thurs) and 15th (Fri)
From 21:00 pm to 5:00 am the next morning (8 hours)
- In case of stormy weather, it will be postponed at the same time from the next day.
- In the case of stormy weather, the decision to close at night will be made at 16:00 pm on the day of the implementation.

2 Detour
If Shin-Hodogaya IC is closed, it is a detour route from Hodogaya Bypass Shin-Sakuragaoka IC via Route 2 to Yokohama-Shindo Road (Odawara direction) or Yokohama Yokosuka Road from Kariba IC Exit to Route 1 Take the Shikariba IC entrance (Tokyo direction) and detour from Yokohama Yokosuka Road (Hachioji area) to Yokohama-Shindo Road (Odawara area).
If you use the detour route, we anticipate that the detour will take about 5-10 minutes, but it may take longer depending on the conditions of the day, so please take time to go. ( Attachment-1 [PDF: 251KB] )
There is no additional charge for the detour.
3 Construction overview
Yokohama-Shindo Road Hodogaya IC is an important connection facility that connects the Yokohama-Shindo Road, Yokohama Yokosuka Road, and Hodogaya Bypass. When repairing pavements and bridges, we have carried out temporary repair work without patrols to prevent inconvenience to our customers. It became necessary to carry out repair work.
In carrying out this full-scale repair work, in order to reduce the impact on customers as much as possible, the lamps will be closed during the night of weekdays when traffic is light, and the work will be concentrated and efficient.
We ask for your understanding and cooperation so that customers can use the Expressway safely and comfortably.
