　NEXCO東日本佐久管理事務所（長野県佐久市）は、軽井沢・信州方面への玄関口として多くのお客さまにご利用されているE18上信越自動車道（上信越道）下り線　横川サービスエリア（SA）を、「花と緑のやすらぎハイウェイガーデン®プロジェクト」のモデル事業として整備しています。

We would like to inform you that the English Garden Area will be opened as the first step of this project and an opening event will be held at the same time.

The English garden area is a Western-style garden with the concept of a prologue to Karuizawa and Shinshu, where you can see beautiful flowers from spring to autumn.

In the future, we will disseminate the attractiveness of Karuizawa and Shinshu through YOKOKAWA Highway Garden®, so when you go to Karuizawa or Shinshu, be sure to stop by Yokogawa SA (Out-bound line) to refresh your mind and body and feel safe and comfortable. Enjoy the drive.

In NEXCO EAST, customers are more likely to use resting facility gardens, etc., switching to a space of comfort and healing as well as creating a regional likeness and regional cooperation "Flower and Green Peaceful Highway Garden® Project Is working on.

For the maintenance of this garden, we started the "Karuizawa Green & Garden Club" with the famous gardens in Karuizawa, and we proceeded with the maintenance while receiving advice from the members as "locality".

オープンは、同日15時00分からとなります。

上信越道　横川SA（下り線）イングリッシュガーデンエリア

(3) Event content

Together with 30 students from a nearby elementary school, 15 pre-registered customers, and members of Karuizawa Green & Garden Club, we will plant flowers and make a basket of flowers on an open site, and create an English garden area. To complete.

In addition, this event will be worked together with Etsuko Shiho, who was active as a flower activist and produced this event.

On the day of the event, please come by car to Yokogawa SA (Out-bound line). Please note that you will be responsible for the transportation costs associated with your visit.
