Please refer to this traffic jam forecast and use it for making travel plans, such as avoiding peak traffic jams and adjusting departure times. This forecast is based on the past year-end and New Year traffic congestion results and recent traffic conditions, but the actual traffic congestion situation may differ from the forecast due to accidents and the influence of the weather, so it is the latest before departure. During the year-end and New Year holidays, traffic congestion is expected to occur especially from January 2nd (Thursday) to January 3rd (Friday).

3 Customer service initiatives (countermeasures against congestion)

We will work to strengthen our customer services, such as measures to alert the end of a traffic jam, assign parking lot organizers in the service area, install temporary toilets, and secure parking for large vehicles.

  • Please check the car before driving to prevent troubles during driving.
  • Falling objects on the Expressway lead to serious accidents
    Let's check not only before departure, but also when using SA / PA to check for loose ropes when traveling long distances.
  • Be sure to wear seat belts on all seats, including the back seats
  • Insert the ETC card securely
  • Enter the ETC lane after decelerating to 20 km / h or less, and drive slowly inside the ETC lane.
  • For fuel and toilet, take an appropriate break as soon as possible and keep in mind to drive safely.
  • Driving for a long time causes an accident
    If you feel drowsiness or tiredness while driving, please do not overdo it and take an early break.
  • There are many rear-end collisions at the end of traffic jams
    Do not drive aside and drive at the end of the traffic jam with an early warning lamp to signal the following vehicle, etc. to prevent a rear-end collision.
  • A motorcycle accident has occurred
    Make sure you understand the traffic and weather conditions, keep a sufficient distance between vehicles, and drive at a safe speed.
    Please do not overtake a vehicle during a traffic jam as it is dangerous.
  • There are many accidents in which people are hit by Expressway.
    If you are forced to get out of the car due to an accident or breakdown, signal the car behind you with hazards, flaming tubes, and stop indicator materials, evacuate to a safe place such as the outside of the guardrail, and call the emergency phone etc.
