3. Construction overview

The Ken-Ken-O Road is a high-standard arterial road with an extension of about 300 km, planned at a radius of about 40 km to 60 km from the city center. NEXCO EAST Tsukuba Construction Office is carrying out construction work from Bando IC to Daiei JCT in the 4-lane project between Ken-O Ken-O Road Kuki Shiraoka JCT and Daiei JCT.
As part of that, we will carry out collective erection work of the elevated bridge that intersects National Route 6. The collective erection work will be carried out by turning over National Route 6 using a large crane, so it will be necessary to close traffic. In order to minimize inconvenience to customers, the road will be closed at night on weekdays when there is little traffic. We ask for your understanding and cooperation.
