NEXCO EAST　Tokyo Wan Aqua-Line Expressway The Management Office (Kisarazu City, Chiba Prefecture) will close the road between the Futtsu-Chuo Interchange (hereinafter "IC") on E14 Tateyama Expressway (hereinafter "Tateyama Road") and the Tomiura IC on E14 Futtsu-Tateyama Road (hereinafter "Tomikan Road") during the night for pavement repair work and road structure repair and inspection.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and ask for your understanding and cooperation in allowing extra time for your trip.

2. Detour

For detours, please refer to Appendix 1 [PDF: 629KB].
The detour will increase travel time, so please allow yourself plenty of time when traveling.

3. Regarding transit adjustments due to suspension of traffic

For customers who exit Expressway due to a road closure, detour around the closed section, then re-enter and transfer in the forward direction, a "transfer adjustment" will be implemented, adjusting the toll according to the section used.For this road closure, transfer adjustments will be implemented only when Section II is closed.

How to use transit adjustment

ETC customers

• For customers using ETC, please drive wirelessly at designated outflow ICs, and also wirelessly drive at re-inflow ICs. (Transfer certificates are not issued for ETC vehicles)
• ETC time zone discount will be applied, considering the transited journey as one.
  Toll charges are adjusted at the time of billing, so they may differ from those displayed at the toll gate.

Customers such as cash

• Customers paying with cash, etc. should receive a "transfer certificate" at the outflow designated IC, then take a "transit ticket" at the re-inflow IC, and then take the "transition certificate" at the toll booth where they pay the toll for the first time. Please hand over your ``book'' and ``traffic ticket.''

Transfer IC

• Futtsu Chuo IC and Futtsu Kanaya IC are ETC-only toll gates, but during this road closure period, even if you are unable to use ETC (e.g., no ETC onboard unit installed, no ETC card inserted, etc.), you can still use the lane marked "ETC/Support" or "Support" at the designated IC from which you exit, receive a "Transfer Certificate," and then collect a "Toll Ticket" at the re-entering IC. You can then present both the "Transfer Certificate" and "Toll Ticket" at the toll gate where you first pay the toll.

Four. Construction overview

At Tateyama Road Futtsu Chuo IC ~ Tomiura IC, we will carry out pavement repair work and repair and inspection of road structures.
Since the section where this construction will be carried out is one lane on each side and cannot be constructed under normal lane regulations, we will close the road on weekday nights when there is little traffic to avoid causing as much inconvenience as possible to customers, and carry out the construction intensively and efficiently. This is a necessary construction work for you to use the Expressway safely and comfortably, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

Five. How to obtain traffic information

(1) Guidance by distribution / posting

• Notice signs, posters and leaflets will be posted at toll booths and rest facilities nearby.
• A banner will be posted on the overpass on the Expressway.
