NEXCO EAST Niigata Management Office (Konan Ward, Niigata City, Director: Hiromitsu Shimomura) at the Ban-Etsu Expressway (upper and lower lines) Tsugawa Interchange (IC) to Niigata Chuo Interchange (IC), inspecting and cleaning equipment inside the tunnel, and tunnel ventilation. Please be informed that the one-sided alternate regulation due to equipment repair work and pavement repair work will be implemented as follows.

One-sided alternating regulation section and period

section	Ban-Etsu Expressway (upper and lower lines) Tsugawa IC-Niigata Chuo IC In the above section, regulations will be implemented at one location per day.
Date and time	Tuesday, October 14, 2008 to Saturday, November 22, 2008 Regulations will be enforced from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. (Except Sundays, public holidays and stormy weather) The regulation period may change depending on the weather.
Regulation method	Alternate traffic control on one side
Work content	Tunnel equipment inspection and cleaning work, tunnel ventilation equipment repair work, pavement repair work

Request for temporary suspension on the road due to one-sided alternate traffic regulation

Due to the one-sided alternating regulation, please stop on the road. We will try our best to reduce the suspension time (waiting time) as much as possible, but depending on traffic conditions etc. Pause for up to 15 minutes May be asked.

We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation as it is necessary for the construction to be used safely and comfortably on the Expressway.
