NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office (Chuo-ku, Niigata City) E8 Hokuriku Expressway Nakanoshima Mitsuke Interchange (IC) and Sanjo Tsubame IC will be renewed.
The construction to be carried out this time is in the target section Kaigui River Kaiwamikawa Bridge and Sakae Return This is a work to replace the old slab of the bridge with a new one. The construction period is 2020 From July 1 (Wednesday) to August, 2019, approximately two years are planned. 2020 will carry out work to improve the median strip as a preliminary work for floor slab replacement work scheduled to be carried out in the 3rd year of Reiwa.
2020 Degree Because traffic restrictions will be enforced during the construction period while changing the number of lanes according to the time of day, we do not expect traffic congestion due to construction.

5. Requests for passing special vehicles
Due to this regulation, from July 1 (Wednesday) to November 20 (Friday), between Nakanoshima Mitsuke IC and Sanjo Tsubame IC (upper and lower lines), Special vehicles with a vehicle width of 3.0 m or more cannot pass. Customers who use this service should detour to Route 8.
Also, regarding special vehicle passage permission (*), if you have acquired only the Expressway route, please be aware that you also need to obtain the permission for general roads.
*What is special vehicle passage permission?
Based on the Road Law and Vehicle Restriction Ordinance, this is a permit required for special vehicles that exceed general restrictions (length, weight, vehicle width, etc.) to pass on public roads.
6. 2020 construction contents of the degree

The bridge section will mainly install temporary girders and temporary floor slabs, and the earthwork section will be paved.

Please note that the lanes and shoulder widths of the sections where fixed regulations are set in the median strip are smaller than usual, so please follow the regulation signs installed on site and drive carefully.
(1) Restrict one lane on the In-bound or Out-bound line and install a temporary girder for the part to widen using a crane.
(2) One lane is regulated for the In-bound and Out-bound lines, and a temporary floor slab for the widening part is installed using a crane.
