NEXCO EAST Niigata Regional Head Office Niigata Management Office (Konan Ward, Niigata City) will hold a group emergency disaster response training on Tuesday, October 31st, assuming a traffic accident on Expressway, at the E49 Ban-Etsu Expressway Niitsu Interchange (IC). This will be carried out on the administrative premises within the city.
This training was conducted jointly with the Niigata City Akiba Fire Department and the Niigata Prefectural Expressway Police Force, with the aim of strengthening cooperation and confirming prompt and accurate response procedures in the event of a serious accident. This will be an attempt.

3. training scenario

  1. A regular passenger car skidded on the icy road on Expressway, causing a traffic accident.
  2. Expressway teams and traffic management teams rushed to the scene and implemented traffic regulations (secondary disaster prevention).
  3. The fire department arrives at the scene and establishes a command system for mass emergency disasters, transmits information, rescue triage, and takes first aid measures.

NEXCO EAST Group positions the period from 2021 to 2025 as "a period in which we will contribute to the achievement of the SDGs and transform towards a new future society," and we are undertaking various initiatives.
We believe that this emergency training will contribute to SDGs 3, 4, 8, and 17 as a business activity that will lead to reducing casualties from traffic accidents.
