1 Congestion prediction

3 Request to customers

Since Expressway and service areas are expected to be very crowded during this period, the East/Middle/West Japan Expressway Co., Ltd. is calling on customers to do the following from the viewpoints of avoiding traffic congestion and traffic safety.

  1. Perfect winter equipment
    The weather can change suddenly on Expressway in the Tohoku region in winter. Please wear winter tires and carry anti-slip devices such as tire chains.
  2. Take a moderate break and drive safely
    Fatigue tends to accumulate when driving at night or for long hours. Take appropriate breaks in the service area and try to drive safely.
    In addition, please note that there are some cases in which you are running in the wrong direction from the service area, and you may run backwards on the Expressway opposite direction leading to an accident.
  3. Refuel and toilet early
    Please refuel and use the toilet as soon as possible with plenty of time.
  4. Let's wear a seat belt even in the back seat

2. Discount according to ETC usage amount
