NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba Ward, Sendai City) will hold Highway Festa Tohoku 2012 at Sendai City Kotodai Park.

Exhibitors gathered from all over the region along the Expressway six prefectures of Tohoku will be able to visit the venue by directly publicizing "things unique to the region" that cannot be experienced without going to the area. It is an event that you can enjoy and rediscover the charm of the Tohoku region.

We hope that this will revitalize tourism in Tohoku and lead to a revitalization of Tohoku.

This year is the 11th event to be held at Kotodai Park, but the name of the event so far, "Highway Communication in Tohoku" has been changed to "Highway Festa Tohoku", and the thoughts toward the reconstruction of the 6 prefectures of Tohoku The event will be lively with the subtitle "Put Tomorrow".

This year, we expect approximately 50,000 visitors over the two days.
