NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba Ward, Sendai City) is our company during the year-end and New Year period [December 26, 2013 (Thurs)-January 5, 2014 (Sun) 11 days] I would like to inform you that we have summarized the usage status of Expressway in the Tohoku region managed by.

- Congestion of 10 km or more on the main line occurred once in the Out-bound direction (+1 year-on-year) and 0 in the In-bound direction (▲1 year-on-year), a total of 1 time (±0 year-on-year).
- The maximum length of congestion on the main line is 12.0 km (-0.1 km compared to the previous year), and between Saturday and December 28 (13:11-17:42 peak time 14:23) between the Motomiya interchange and the Koriyama-minami interchange on the Tohoku Expressway It occurred in (Out-bound line). This traffic jam was caused by the confluence and accident near Koriyama JCT.
