About the conclusion of comprehensive cooperation agreement with Akita Prefecture and East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd.

Akita Prefecture Governor Takahisa Satake and East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd. (NEXCO EAST) President and Chief Executive Officer Hirohiro Hirose signed a comprehensive partnership agreement on Wednesday, March 19, 2014.

1. Purpose

Akita Prefecture and the Company will cooperate with each other to effectively utilize the resources of both parties and promote the development of local communities through tourism and culture promotion, prefecture product promotion, disaster prevention and disaster countermeasures, technical cooperation, environmental conservation, citizens' movement, etc. At the same time, we aim to improve user convenience and Large usage by providing high-quality services on Expressway, service areas and parking areas.
