NEXCO EAST Tohoku Branch (Sendai-shi Aoba-ku) and Niigata branch (Niigata-shi Chuo-ku), in order to make it possible for customers to use expressways safely, securely and comfortably,E49 Between the Aizu-Wakamatsu IC on the Ban-Etsu Expressway and the Yasuda IC, we will carry out night traffic closures for the face-to-face sections due to pavement repair work and tunnel equipment inspections.

We apologize for the inconvenience to our customers, but we ask for your understanding and cooperation as this is a construction necessary to use the Expressway safely and comfortably.

Construction overview

Ban-Etsu Expressway We will repair damaged road surfaces between Aizuwakamatsu IC and Yasuda IC and inspect and clean tunnel equipment.

In order to minimize the impact on customers, we will carry out traffic closures during the nighttime on weekdays when traffic is light and carry out construction work intensively and efficiently.

We ask for your understanding and cooperation so that customers can use the Expressway safely and comfortably.
