NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office (Aoba Ward, Sendai City) is newly added to the target people in order to improve the convenience of Expressway 's free measures for evacuees from the warning area etc. due to the nuclear accident. We decided to issue a card, and we started accepting card applications sequentially from December 22, 2017 in each municipality, and issued a card at East Nippon Expressway Co., Ltd.. With the use of cards, the congestion at the toll booth has been largely eliminated.
Until the end of June 2018, it was possible to pass by presenting the damage certificate etc. from the past, but from July 1, 2018 it will be completely changed to passing by card, so it is still If you do not have a card, please apply as soon as possible to the local government office in Fukushima Prefecture where you lived at the time of the Great East Japan Earthquake.
- Prior application is required to issue the Furusato Return Passage Card. The application form can also be downloaded from each tollgate in Fukushima Prefecture or from the NEXCO EAST corporate website dedicated page.
