NEXCO EAST Towada Management Office (Kazuno City, Akita Prefecture) E4 Tohoku Expressway Kosaka Interchange (IC), we will carry out night traffic closures as follows due to replacement work for damaged bridge expansion and contraction equipment.

In order to minimize the impact on traffic, we will carry out traffic closures at night when traffic volume decreases. We apologize for any inconvenience to our customers, but this work is necessary to maintain a safe and comfortable environment on the Expressway.

1 Night-time closed sections

Tohoku Expressway Kosaka IC (In-bound line) Inflow ramp to Tokyo and outflow ramp from Aomori

2 Regulation period

Monday, October 15, 2018 to Wednesday, October 17, 2018 3 Night

• Reserve days: October 18, 2018 (Thursday), October 22, 2018 (Monday) to October 25, 2018 (Thursday)
• If the weather is bad or there is a risk of deterioration, we will stop the work.
• The regulatory period may change depending on the progress.

3 time limit

From 20:00 every night to 6:00 the next day

4 Construction details

We will replace the bridge expansion / contraction device damaged due to deterioration.

5 Detour

Tohoku Expressway In-bound to Kosaka Town, exit the Igaseki Seki IC and go through National Route 7 ⇒ Prefectural Road 2 (jukai line) (about 50 minutes) or via National Route 282 (about 30 minutes) to Kosaka Town. Please pass. (Blue broken line)
