NEXCO EAST Iwaki Management Office (Iwaki City, Fukushima Prefecture) announced a press release (*) on March 10, 1945, "E6 Joban Expressway Soma Interchange (IC) to Shinchi (Shinchi) ) We are planning to close the road between ICs (upper and lower lines) at night, but to ensure driving safety because there is a step on the road surface due to the impact of the earthquake that occurred on March 16, 1945. A section will be added, and night traffic will be closed between the Joban Expressway Minami Soma IC and the Soma IC (upper and lower lines), and road surface repair work will be carried out.
We apologize for the inconvenience caused to our customers, but this work is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of the Expressway. We will do our best to minimize the inconvenience to our customers, such as closing traffic at night when traffic volume is low, so we ask for your understanding and cooperation.

April 6th (Wednesday) to 19th (Tuesday), 4th year of Reiwa
Every night from 20:00 to 5:00 the next day
[Preliminary day: April 20th (Wednesday) to 22nd (Friday)]

  • The night closure will be from 20:00 on weekdays to 5:00 the next day.
    (Friday night work will be done until 5 am on Saturday)
