NEXCO EAST Sendai Management Office (Aoba Ward, Sendai City) will be closing the Zao Parking Area (hereinafter referred to as "PA") ramp on In-bound E4 Tohoku Expressway (hereinafter referred to as "Tohoku Expressway") at night to carry out tree cutting work.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to our customers. Please check the attached document [PDF: 257KB] for available rest facilities and ask for your understanding and cooperation in using nearby PAs or service areas (hereinafter referred to as "SAs").

   Every day from 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning

   From 20:00 to 6:00 the next morning

• We will announce the decision to carry out the work on X (formerly Twitter) and other platforms.

2. Work summary

Tohoku Expressway　In-bound The Zao PA ramp on the 2nd and 3rd lines has trees growing up to the top of the ramp, so tree trimming work will be carried out. Since the area where this work will be performed is one lane and normal lane restrictions cannot be applied, it will be necessary to close the PA to perform the work.
In order to minimize inconvenience to our customers, we will close the PA during the night on weekdays when the impact of the work is minimal, and conduct the work in a concentrated and efficient manner. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as this work is necessary for the safe and comfortable use of Expressway.
