NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office Morioka Management Office (Morioka City, Iwate Prefecture) and Kitakami Management Office (Kitakami City, Iwate Prefecture) will be implementing the "Highway Iwate Hot Spring Tour Service Campaign 2026" as follows, so that customers using Expressway can relax and enjoy bathing facilities in Iwate Prefecture at a great price.
This campaign is a great and fun opportunity where you can get a discount on admission to day-trip hot spring facilities using the coupon in the pamphlet, and you can also collect stamps by visiting different hot spring facilities for a chance to win wonderful prizes in a lottery.

1. Implementation period

May 2, 2026 (Sat) - November 30, 2026 (Mon) [Approximately 7 months]

2. How to Use

1. Discounts on day-use bathing facilities
   If you fill out a discount coupon and drop it into the "discount coupon collection box" at the counter of the bathing facility listed in the brochure, you will receive a discount on your bathing fee.
   • The discount coupons are printed in the pamphlet, so please cut them out and use them.
   • The PDF version of the brochure does not include a discount coupon or a special application envelope.
     When using these services, please use the physical brochures available at service areas (SAs) and parking areas (PAs) as described in "4. How to obtain brochures".
   • This campaign is designed to allow you to enjoy the wide variety of bathing facilities in Iwate Prefecture. Please refrain from focusing on specific facilities.
2. Stamp Rally
   In the "Highway Stamp" section in the pamphlet, please stamp one of the highway stamps provided at service areas (hereafter "SA") or parking areas (hereafter "PA") that house NEXCO EAST facilities.
   Next, use the bathing facilities listed in the pamphlet and collect one or more stamps.
   Depending on the number of stamps collected and the amount of purchases made along the coast of Iwate Prefecture totaling 2,000 yen or more (tax included), you will be entered into a lottery to win one of the following prizes.

A. Hot Spring Hopping Award

[One highway stamp + at least one stamp from each of the three bathing facilities in each area]

• Free pair of bath tickets... 15 winners will be selected by lottery each month.

B Sanriku Support Award

[One highway stamp + one or more stamps from a bathing facility + a receipt or invoice for purchases of 2,000 yen or more (including tax) made in a coastal area ^(*)]

• Coastal areas of interest
  Hirono Town, Kuji City, Noda Village, Fudai Village, Tanohata Village, Iwaizumi Town, Miyako City, Yamada Town, Otsuchi Town, Kamaishi City, Ofunato City, Rikuzentakata City

• Sanriku specialty products... 5 winners will be selected by lottery each month.

C Area Domination Award

[One highway stamp + stamps from all bathing facilities in your chosen area]

• Local specialty products from the application area...12 winners in total (3 winners from each of the 4 areas) will be selected by lottery.

D. All-location Conquest Award

[1 highway stamp + 34 stamps from all bathing facilities]

• Free accommodation voucher for two: 5 people in total will be chosen by lottery​
• Completion certificate and Iwate Prefecture specialty products- all applicants (Limited to one per person)

W Chance

[For those who were not selected in the stamp rally lottery]

• Iwate Prefecture specialties...2 winners selected by lottery each month

• The gift is a specialty product from Iwate Prefecture.
  This information was provided by the following organizations: Hanamaki Tourism Association, Kanegasaki Town Tourism Association, Oshu City Tourism and Products Association, Hiraizumi Town, Ichinoseki City Tourism Association, Nishiwaga Industrial Corporation, Michi-no-Eki Nishine, Kitakami City, and Michi-no-Eki Tono Kaze no Oka.

In addition, the winners of each giveaway will also receive a free coffee voucher for service areas in Iwate Prefecture (Iwateyama SA, Shiwa SA, Maezawa SA).

3. How to apply for stamp rally

Please fill in the necessary information in the dedicated envelope with stamping space on the pamphlet and apply.

• Application deadline: The last day of each month (postmark valid on that day)
  However, for November, the deadline is December 15th (postmark valid on that day).
• Final application deadline: December 15, 2026 (Tuesday) (Postmark must be dated on or before this date)

Brochures are available at the following SA and PA in Iwate and Miyagi prefectures. Please stop by when you are using Expressway.

"Doratoku" is a collective term for services provided by NEXCO EAST Tohoku Branch for the local community to enjoy the drive to customers who use expressways.

NEXCO EAST Tohoku Regional Head Office has established "Regional Liaison Councils" in each prefecture with the aim of discovering and widely disseminating attractive tourism resources, thereby improving the vitality of the entire Tohoku region of six prefectures and revitalizing inter-regional exchange. They have also organized the "Highway People and Town Network" with the aim of working together with local communities.
